A late bloomer in dance art, I started training in Hip Hop and competing with my crew since 2001. After a hiatus however, I was restless to expand my exposure to other dance forms, and I decided to try one that is more "individual". That was when I discovered the fascinating world of Pole Fitness.
The challenge of improving my limited strength and flexibility to exhibit grace on the pole took alot of dedication, and I have to constantly push myself to do more and better. I was fortunate that the mentors I have met were most inspiring and encouraging in more ways than one. It has been a year along, yet I am still endlessly awed by the beauty of this art.
Another major milestone was joining and winning the SG Polestars competition in April 2010. The experience was totally exhilarating, one full of shared dreams, passion and many a laugh. From a refreshing hobby, pole has officially become a huge part of my life.
